Vintage 1960’s MCM LE Smith Pink Victoria Fern & Scroll Swung Glass Vase, 13.5”

Crafted in the 1960’s, this striking and rare piece of glass is the perfect encapsulation of both the artistry of mid-century swung glass vases, as well as the artist themselves. L.E. Smith is probably the most well known art glass maker of the mid-century era; and if not the most well known, certainly L.E. Smith holds a space in the top three! The pattern seen on this piece, Victoria Fern & Scroll, is one of the rarest patterns one can find and is one of the most collectible. What makes this swung glass vase even more sought after, though, is its pink coloring. Pink always has been — and probably always will be — one of the most popular and desirable colors of glass in history.The vase in this listing measures approximately 13-1/2” in height and measures roughly 4-7/8” at its widest point. It has no cracks or chips. There is a very slight scratch near the base, but it is only visible upon close inspection.
