Welcome to my delightful Estate find, an Oneida Queen Bess II Community Tudor Plate silverplated flatware service for 8 in a handmade antique silverware box. This was one of the first silverware patterns to be manufactured after WWII! American factories had been retooled to produce military goods and support the war effort and only returned to making luxury consumer goods in 1946 when this Silverware was produced! 8 of each: dinner knives, dinner forks, salad forks, round soup spoons, teaspoons, plus Serving: three 9 spoons, 9 fork, butter, and sugar.The gorgeous vintage box has dovetail construction, with royal purple felt. Some pieces have patina, I personally prefer it but please check my pictures, I have done my best to show the integrity of each piece and they look pretty shiny for being 80 years old.
