Modified Generator

Modified military generator7500watt single phase 120v powered by a kubota d722-et04 3 cylinder engine with 4550 hours.I’ve added a 15 gallon fuel cell and a Caterpillar 8D battery to the unit(battery has disconnect). Fuel, air and oil filter have all been changed. She burns about a quart of oil every 500hrs but will run until the end of time and then some. This unit is still about 5000 hours shy of needing any major work…There is an overhaul kit available for the d722 for about $250 and if you’re mechanically inclined you can rebuild that motor over drunk weekend in the garage and get another 10000 trouble free hours. The only items that do not currently function are the oil pressure gauge and water temp gauge(both pretty easy fixes but I have a baby due in June and the Wife has decreed that this toy must go), but the unit is equipped with low oil and over temp shutoffs as a redundant precaution.This would be great for home back up or for jobsite power for you construction minded folk. There is a brand new Erickson jobsite power box and 25’ twist lock 50amp cord included that mount on the side of unit to put a little real estate between you and your power supply. This thing runs extremely quiet. With the fuel tank modifications it will run half load for 30 hours
