Details:Rustic Copper Bolo Tie with Blue Kingman Turquoise - Handmade Western Accessory for Men & Women: This handmade, copper western bolo tie features a blue Kingman Turquoise stone. The Turquoise stone was mined near Kingman Arizona & has been stabilized. Stabilized turquoise is natural turquoise that has been treated to stabilize the color & the stone. It is genuine turquoise & not dyed. This piece of Kingman Turquoise was shaped & polished in our work shop in Arizona & it is amazing. It has a fantastic blue color that is perfectly displayed in the copper bolo slide. We also hand-crafted the new copper setting. We cut the copper triangle out of a 16 gauge sheet of copper. We then used a hammer to create a cross-hatched pattern. It was left a little "rough" around the edges to give it a "handmade vintage" look. We didn´t want it to look like it was mass produced in a factory. The Turquoise stone is 30mm x 22mm (1 1/4" x 7/8") & is set vertically on the slide. The setting is 41mm x 41mm (1 1/2" x 1 1/2") & has a stainless steel tension clasp that is tightly secured with two rivets for extra strength. The tension clasp is easier on the leather cord than a friction clasp. The black leather cord is 38" long. It has copper tone tips with 4mm bead ends. They are 33mm (1 5/16") long. If you don´t like the cord, don´t worry, it can be switched to something more to your liking upon request & we can always change the length of the cord also. This is a great looking western bolo tie that can be worn by either men or women. You can wear it loose for an informal look or cinch it up tight for a more traditional western style.
