1960s Dansk Teak Cutting Board or Charcuterie Tray

Dansk Cutting Board and Tray designed by Jens H. Quistgaard. Vintage 1960sThe board might look simple and streamlined, but it´s a masterpiece of form and design. The staved end grain teak center functions as the cutting board part with the slightly scooped moat surrounding it to capture juices. But the edges of the board are slightly elevated, and while it´s a beautiful detail of the design, it also has a function - it allows one to place the rim of a plate beneath it to avoid losing any juice or messing up the table. When not used as a carving board, it works perfectly as a charcuterie board to serve your guests in style.Measures 18 long, 12.25 wide, 1.5 deep3.8 lbsBoard is vintage 1960s made with genuine teak wood. It is in used condition. Has some noticeable scratches but no chips or breaks. Wood is worn but in good condition. My family were the first owners.
