Archive Production and Analog Stereo Production

A superb collection from Archiv, featuring records and CDs with outstanding recordings. This time, we are offering a set of two collections: ① Production 1947-2013: 55 CDs, and ② Analog Stereo Production 1959-1981: 50 CDs.Production 1947-2013 was released in 2013 to commemorate the 66th anniversary of the label´s founding. It begins with Bach works by Walcha, Ristenpart, and Lehmann, followed by recordings such as performances by Wenzinger & Basel Schola Cantorum, which were important for the revival of original instruments, and Richter´s St. Matthew Passion, which became a definitive masterpiece. Around 1980, the label signed contracts with Pinnock, Gardiner, and Goebel, and became an important label for the revival of early music along with the original instrument boom.Analog Stereo Production 1959-1981 is a brand new, unopened item. This work was released in 2016, following the first box set, and includes famous recordings made between 1959 and 1981. It features not only masterpieces by renowned artists such as Richter, Walcha, and Fournier, but also many recordings that have never been released on CD before. It´s also pleasing that many recordings that are currently unavailable are included. Each disc is enclosed in a paper jacket with the original jacket design.Please enjoy!
