Everything shown in the photos to include:*1) - the piece is a signed payment to replace 4 horse shoes on King Black who was a casket carriage horse from the funeral stable. It is dated to Victorian era December 8, 1904 signed by Anton Kurrus. It was nice to see the horse was named. Anton Kurrus met a widow Mary Susan nee Rosenthal Mounton (first husband John Mounton), and married her in 1882 and her daughter, Nellie Marie Mounton, was 4 years old. On March 17, 1883 Anton purchased Meyer- Strotham-Mertz Livery and Undertaking Company.
