Vintage 20th Century Miniature Dresser/Jewelry Box with 6 Drawers & Mirror, 8”This late 19th/early 20th century miniature 6-drawer dresser w original mirror mounted above, was likely used as a salesman’s sample by an itinerant sales person who traveled promoting his articles-taking orders based on this scaled down miniature bureau.This Haitian bureau is made of oak wood circa late 1800-early 1900s & is in impeccable condition, both structurally & aesthetically.Drawers fronts have original white enamel pulls” & are lined in red velvet (?).Back of dresser is hallmarked by the designer. Scalloped side trims, chamfered edged top & shaped mirror frame mount.This is a RARE, difficult to find mini version to a full sized mirror top bureau. It’s a highly sought after cross collectible-attracting those interested in folk art. Great piece to store jewelry.
