Vintage 1950´s "Kiilani" by Alfred Shaheen - Rare Hawaiian Islands Design

This is an original vintage 1950s Alfred Shaheen "Kiilani" aloha shirt which is styled with an aqua background and a rare blue Hawaiian Islands design. Alfred Shaheen’s 1950´s textile designs and fabrics are legendary and have become an integral part of the aloha shirt mystique.The shirt´s Hawaiian motif of islands, landmarks, activities and fish are detailed and finished with gold edges by the use of a metallic dye that was first pioneered by Alfred Shaheen in the 1950s.The colors and designs on the aloha shirt are clear and vibrant and shows no signs of wear.
