Vintage Earrings by Dematteo and Thorpe

I have tried to find more information about these...but it has been very difficult.They are most likely from the 50s or 60s, and were hand forged from sterling silver by 2 artists by the name of William DeMatteo and Phil Thorpe.They have a gold vermeil over them as well. I did not have them cleaned because I didn´t know if that would effect the value or not. It might be best to have them check out by an art appraiser.I know that they are incredibly rare, but I am still looking for info.
