~7.5 possible fire opal inlay, silver plated bracelet!

I found this bracelet while I was on vacation. It was in really tough shape when I got it, and I wanted to bring it back to life.I´m not sure if there´s an opal like film under resin or if it´s actually a fire opal inlay. To me, it shines like it´s fire opal, but I wanted to be upfront that I wasn´t entirely sure.The back of the bracelet is marked 925, but when I acid tested it, it came back as silver plated. Should fit a 7.5 wrist. The thickest part of the bracelet measures to be about 5mm.Please inspect and enlarge the pictures to assess the condition of the item for yourself.
