Launched in 1975 in Europe, and 1976 in the USA, Havana Weed Oil is a fragrance based on oils derived from the Majagua tree – an exotic hardwood that is part of the Hibiscus family. Its origins are Jamaica and Cuba. Majagua flowers bloom for only one day, beginning the morning as large yellow blooms and turning a bright, fiery red by dusk. Havana Weed Oil was discontinued around 1987 and is now extremely difficult to find.
